Author of Breathing Love and True Yoga, Jennie Lee is a certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) and author with 20 years of experience in yoga philosophy and meditation practice, and an educational background in spiritual psychology. She has helped hundreds of clients discover how to move beyond limited or negative thinking to freedom and fulfillment through Yoga Therapy. Initially captivated by the physical benefits of yoga, Jennie came to recognize its psychological benefits following some devastating losses in her life. Searching for solace from grief and depression, she delved into the deeper meditative practices of the Yoga Sutras.
She discovered that these 5,000 year old teachings provide directions for managing every stressor life could possibly throw our way. Her Yoga Therapy counseling developed from this study of the Yoga Sutras as well as from her Master¹s work in Spiritual Psychology and Certification in Somatic Therapy. She finds joy in sharing with others how to integrate the teachings of classical yoga and meditation into everyday life for inner peace, a deeper sense of purpose and a connection to one's spiritual self. She counsels via phone or Skype internationally and from her home studio on Oahu.
